WARNING: They Took My Money & My Order Disappeared 💸
I'm writing this as a warning about my awful experience with this online glasses store. They took my money, and then my order simply vanished into thin air. My conclusion after this ordeal is simple: do not attempt to speak with a human being in customer service. it won't happen. tried to track my order thru live chat, and they reply no such order. they have charged my credit card and i have received my monthly statement. i would just like to speak with a person to see what is going on. This complete lack of communication is what forced me to keep trying to get a hold of someone, anyone, to find an answer.
Customer: I've been trying to get through for days. My credit card was charged, I have the statement, but your live chat says my order number doesn't exist. I need to know where my glasses are.
CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the trouble and frustration this has caused. That is definitely not the experience we want for our customers. Could you please provide me with the order number and the email address you used? I'll look into this immediately.
Customer: The order is GSU123456, email is myemail@email.com. The chat bot was useless, just kept saying "no such order." It’s incredibly frustrating when you’ve already taken my money.
CS Rep: Thank you. I see your order now. It appears there was a system error that prevented it from showing up in the automated tracking system. I sincerely apologize for that. I've located it and can confirm it's scheduled to ship tomorrow.
Customer: So it does exist? Why was it impossible to find that out? This whole process has been a nightmare. I was about to file a chargeback with my bank.
