I'm writing this to warn everyone about my disastrous online shopping experience. I needed to get this off my chest after being stonewalled by automated systems, which is why I tried desperately to speak to a real person. This company is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I paid an extra $19.95 for "next day delivery" on a simple pair of non-prescription glasses. Days later, after my order hadn't even shipped, I finally managed to reach a human by navigating their frustrating phone menu, which led to this conversation.
Customer: I paid for next day delivery on order number [order number], and it hasn't even shipped. I want a refund for the $19.95 shipping fee. Your website promised a service you didn't deliver.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration. Let me look up your order. I do see the charge for expedited shipping. I can submit a request to our billing department for a refund.
Customer: A request? No. You’re not providing a service that I paid for. You need to refund my money right now. There's nothing to "request," it's a fact.
CS Rep: Sir, I can only submit the request to the billing department, and it will be up to them to process it. That is our policy.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
